Furkan Korkmaz assesses his season, says he can give Sixers more

Article Summary:

The Philadelphia 76ers will enter the All-Star break after Wednesday’s matchup with the Utah Jazz and it will be a much-needed break for them after a jam-packed first half of the season in which there were games played every other day for the most part.

With the break comes assessments of how the team and the individual players on the roster have played thus far. A player still has to go to the facility and get tested, and that can be draining for a player on top of all the games played. “We need to take care of our bodies first and then our mental health because it’s a long season and then we are playing through the pressure. Every game we got to win. We step on the court to win the games, but also this pressure comes more responsibility. We feel like you’re got to win those games. That’s our responsibility. I think, overall, everybody takes care of their body, and then we try to stay together.”

Despite his up-and-down performances thus far, Korkmaz is confident he will get back to the player he once was and become that consistent knockdown shooter he can be off the bench.
