Article Summary:

Sixers Bell Ringer Season Standings:

Joel Embiid – 16
Ben Simmons – 7
Tobias Harris – 6
Shake Milton – 4
Matisse Thybulle – 2
Tyrese Maxey – 1
Dakota Mathias – 1

On the road again for the second night of a back-to-back, it wouldn’t have been crazy if the Sixers came out a little sluggish in Washington, especially with Ben Simmons still sidelined due to health and safety protocols. Of course, the Sixers’ 127-101 win comes secondary to Joel Embiid leaving the game in the third quarter with a left knee injury.

In his 20 minutes prior to the injury, Embiid was basically unstoppable against an underwhelming Wizards frontcourt.

Furkan Korkmaz: 18 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 turnover

12 of his 18 points came in the fourth quarter when the game was basically decided, but it’s always good to see Furkan hitting the longballs.
