Seth Curry led Philadelphia with 20 points, Joel Embiid had 17 points and seven rebounds, Tobias Harris added 17 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, and Ben Simmons had eight points and six assists.
Here are the three observations from the win:
Pushing the pace
This is a product of having Simmons back out on the floor as the Sixers were able to get into a good rhythm on offense thanks to the transition offense they were able to create. Playing with Simmons creates a lot of open looks for him and he has to be able to take those open looks and then keep shooting no matter the result. The results were encouraging as Hill also offers another shooter out on the floor for Simmons to kick out to and the Hawks actually doubled Simmons in the post so it offers another look in the half-court setting.
