Article Summary:

The Philadelphia 76ers have won seven games in a row and they are looking like the No. 1 seed in the East with each passing win.

The Sixers are not sure who their Round 1 opponent will be just yet as the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds will be determined after the play-in tournament between the 7, 8, 9, and 10 seeds in the East standings. “Some are on-site, a lot are by video. The biggest difference, especially if you’re the one seed, you don’t really know who you’re playing.”

If the standings remain true, the Sixers would face the Charlotte Hornets, who are currently the No. 8 seed, in Round 1. “Usually going in, you kind of know, well, you won’t know until the final game. I think if we do lock up the one seed, then we clearly will have 2/3/4 teams that we’ll watch.”

For the Sixers, they know their regular season will end May 16 and the playoffs will begin six days later on May 22.
