Tyrese Maxey is not surprised by Isaiah Joe’s recent success for Sixers

Article Summary:

For some, this may have come as a surprise, but for fellow second-year guard Tyrese Maxey, this is nothing new to see. “I’m playing, he didn’t have 40, but he wasn’t missing. I was like ‘This dude really does not miss’.”

Joe is shooting a sizzling 63.2% from deep in the preseason on 4.0 attempts per game and that kind of shooting is going to earn him more playing time if he can keep it up. Philadelphia is always in need of some shooting to put around Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons-if he shows up to play-so Joe’s hard work should go a long way.

“I just see him putting in work day by day by day, getting better and better, and it’s great to see him succeed like that,” Maxey finished.
