To help fill those holes, the Sixers signed veteran Tyler Johnson to a 10-day hardship exception on Dec. 20. Johnson has been in the NBA for some time, and he helped the Sixers in the grit and toughness department on the floor.

Johnson played three games for the Sixers, averaging 3.7 points and 2.0 rebounds while shooting 3-for-7 from deep. The Sixers definitely could have used him a little longer, but with Shake Milton and Danny Green returning, his being let go despite the Sixers liking him as a player makes sense.
